NSW:Crews to spend night at Sydney bushfire
SYDNEY, Feb 22 AAP - Fire crews will spend Tuesday morning battling a bushfire believed
to have been deliberately lit in Sydney's southwest.
The series of blazes erupted about 8pm (AEDT) on Monday night, tearing through more
than 20 hectares, threatening a dozen homes and at one point sparking fears it would spread
into Holsworthy Army Barracks.
By midnight (AEDT), the Rural Fire Service (RFS) said 60 firefighters were on the scene
and had managed to get a grip on the blazes, which were centred around Wills Road at Long
Point, near Macquarie …
